WISDOM
Do you recall the old adage “Knowledge is Power?" The truth is, knowledge only becomes power when it's acted upon. And usually only when it's acted upon within a certain period. One must be in a constant state of updating information mostly due to Man's Information Age data doubling every 3 years. The Internet is full of knowledge. But that’s all it is, random knowledge. Once action is taken on that knowledge, only then is wisdom created. Wisdom is the combination of knowledge and applied action or experience. It is the combined execution of all knowledge; Thus, wisdom. And that is "true power.”
Unfortunately, most financial "knowledge" in our country has been filtered through financial institutions selling products. Their marketing efforts are solely focused on providing what appears to be knowledge to Americans, when in fact the goal of these companies is to sell their products; in the process, creating devastating money misconceptions for most Americans. Take the game of golf. If you were to compete in a prestigious golf tournament such as the Masters, would you rather have the best golf clubs money could buy? Or the swing of the best golfer in the world? In order to win, you would choose the swing of the very best, like Tiger Woods. Through education we teach this knowledge of money, or “swing,” to the community. This knowledge coupled with a sound financial roadmap, creates the financial wisdom to prosper in any future economy. But keep in mind, every minute you wait, it's costing you wealth.
